ephod
Cornelian and other stones are to be set in the ephod. It is of finely woven linen embroidered with gold, violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, with two shoulder-straps bearing cornelians engraved with the names of the sons of Israel. At consecration Aaron is dressed in the ephod and its waistband is tied round his waist.
